Managing to cling on to a position in the Top 200, thanks to features such as; Cloud servers powering your browsing experience, Adobe Flash support, a virtual gamepad, and add-ons for interaction with web services like Pocket, Evernote and Facebook — Not wanting to slow down in its attempt at becoming the best mobile browser available, the pocket browser is this week updating with a few notable additions.
The most notable of those is support for Apple’s wireless printing API – AirPrint.
If you’re yet to run into it, “AirPrint” enables instant printing from an iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Mac without the need to install drivers or download software. Simply select an AirPrint printer and print.
That’s right, you can now print any web pages you might be in the middle of reading directly from Puffin. The feature is said to work on both iPhone and iPad, and is pretty straight-forward in terms of getting it to work.
The update to version 3.1.0 also brings with it improved overall connectivity, alongside a new “Network Diagnostics” function – (allowing you to troubleshoot any connection errors you might run into), better scrolling support for html sub-frame elements, and the update fixes some miscellaneous freezing and crashing bugs that may have affected some users.
