Described as one of the biggest “breakthrough” artists the industry has seen, this year, English singer and musician, John Newman, has finally released his smash-hit, chart-topping single – “Love Me Again” – for immediate digital download on iTunes.
Originally from Settle in the Yorkshire Dales, and currently the property of Universal and Island Records, Newman is said to have attended Settle College where, according to his Wikipedia entry, he “started playing guitar” and “writing his own songs” at the age of 14. He later discovered he carried skills in both the creation of house music and DJ’ing.
By far Newman’s biggest commercial success came with the release of his debut single – “Love Me Again” – which originally peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart, back in July 2013. Newman has since released a second single, entitled “Cheating,” which continues to do well in the Billboard Charts.
