Looking to wirelessly transfer what you’re currently seeing on your Mac, to your iPhone or iPad?
Darinsoft’s Air Transfer+ is a drag-and-drop productivity tool that aims to bridge the divide between your desktop and mobile devices. You can move text memos, website addresses, photos, music files, movies, documents (and more).
All the files you transfer are automatically classified into the app’s 7 predefined content categories, according to their type — and accessing or playing files you have previously transferred with Air Transfer+ is as easy as tapping on them.
Files are transferred using a specially generated URL, which provides a shared folder between both your Mac and iOS device — similar to how the “Public” folder works in OS X, today. Providing that the Desktop you’re trying to connect to, and your iOS device, are connected to the same Wi-Fi network when using the app, you shouldn’t run into any issues.
Once you’ve found the items you wish to wirelessly transfer, it’s just a case of dragging and dropping these onto the designated “drop” areas shown on the left side of the Air Transfer+ browser interface.
It even works in the background:
Air Transfer works in the background, meaning you can switch to other apps without stopping the current transfer.
Usually $1.99 — Air Transfer+ is FREE (Today Only).
Note: This app works best in Safari, Firefox, or Chrome.
