If you haven’t heard of @Dropbox by now, you’re missing out. Dropbox is a cross-platform computer application that syncs files onto a Dropbox server. This server can be viewed as a folder on other computers which you have been validated. On a Macintosh or other computer, you simply drag a file into the Dropbox folder, and it immediately syncs with other computers/devices.
Just in time for the launch tomorrow, UK television network the @BBC has today activated an iPad-compatible version of their BBC iPlayer catch-up service.
If you’ve ever wanted to have the ability to sync your bookmarked pages in the desktop browser @Firefox with your iPhone, to take them on the go with you, you might today be in luck.
With the iPad’s new larger screen size and ease of use in the form of iPhone OS, Apple’s recently released device really does become available to more age groups, specifically the likes of young children and toddlers.
