Engadget shares tonight a reported image of (what appears to be) a Logitech-branded iOS gamepad. Presumably designed for Apple’s iPhone 5, from what we can see the accessory has a middle cut-out just big enough for the mobile device to connect to the controller’s physical “D-pad” in landscape orientation.

Microsoft‘s latest TV ad, perhaps unsurprisingly, (again) uses Apple’s intelligent assistant – Siri – to poke fun at the hardware (and software) ‘shortcomings’ of the iPad. The creatively named “Dell Tablet Vs. iPad” spot sees a Dell-branded tablet shown alongside Apple’s full-size iPad.
During Apple’s WWDC keynote last week, there was a noticeable and distinct lack of mention regarding the company’s popular tablet – the iPad. While it is now clear that Apple is running a little behind on the development of iOS 7, (highlighted by the fact that the developer betas are only available for the iPhone and iPod touch), the company wasn’t even prepared to show one screenshot of iOS 7 running on iPad or iPad mini.
With iOS 7 now out in the wild, and developers around the world taking the new software update for a “test-drive” before its eventual Fall release, talented designers Teehan+Lax have wasted no time in creating a FREE Photoshop PSD file packed full of high-resolution, “Retina”-ready assets for Apple’s new mobile operating system.
Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference wasn’t the only big thing to happen last week. In fact, this past week was also the home to the world’s largest show of new and emerging technologies – The E3 Electronic Entertainment Expo. However, as the guys over at Cinemablend point out, not all of the technology on show at the event was functioning as advertised. Specifically in terms of those next-gen gaming consoles.
