AT&T Announces Wi-Fi Hotzone Pilot Program. The Fix For iPhone 4′s Data Upload Issues!

Over the past couple of weeks we’ve been following an issue with US mobile network AT&T and their 3G network Alcatel-Lucent data capacity software, causing a slow down in user upload speeds across the network for many customers. The company stated a fix would be deployed “within the next few weeks”.

Skype: We’ve Changed Our Minds. No Charge for Calling Over 3G, Until 2011!

Over the weekend we gave you the heads up on Skype version 2.0 for iPhone and iPod touch.

To crowds of people cheering, the update finally added the ability to make phone calls over 3G, freely. Well, free until August anyway. But today, Skype has just announced its changed its mind as far as charging users goes.
