Ngmoco Submits Update to We Rule

@Ngmoco has today announced via a tweet that it has submitted an update to its popular Farmville-esque time management title, We Rule.

@Ngmoco, developers of the popular Pocket God-esque time management title @GodFingerGame, have today announced a major update has been submitted for the iPhone and iPod touch-supported version of the game.

As I’m sure most of you will be aware, ngmoco finally unleashed We Rule to the world a few short day’s ago after there now standard Canadian testing. I’ve been playing this game for a while (as I have access to a Canadian iTunes account) and would like to give our impressions on this latest title.

If you happen to be a fan of ngmoco and what they bring to both the iPhone (and iPod touch), you’ll almost certainly know that whenever they release a new application onto the App Store, they’ll first release it to iTunes Canada, only.

This has resulted in all sorts of crazy, including some fans even creating Canadian accounts just get the titles before the rest of the world.

In-App Robbery? I Don’t Think So.

There are so many applications out now that are jumping the band wagon of adding in-app purchases. Feeding to the fury and disgust in many iPhone users. So many people are now leaving bad reviews for the app they buy just because they had to buy an extra item to, what they think, will better the game. Many new apps are no longer getting the review rating they truly deserve.

Last night, Ngmoco’s (MMO) first person shooter Eliminate Pro hit the App Store – to huge fanfare. Eliminate is a online first person shooter, and it works on ngmoco’s own Plus+ Network, a system which allows you to keep track of how you’re doing in each of the games supported by the service.
