First promised as a feature of the Kickstarter-born smartwatch some time ago, after entering an intensive testing period at both RunKeeper and Pebble HQ, the official RunKeeper app was earlier this week (finally)
Gradually improving its from-the-ground-up mapping service introduced with the public release of iOS 6, Apple is this week continuing its efforts to improve the online service by adding support for its ‘3D Flyover’ feature to the city of Paris, alongside the east-central French city of Lyon.
Although not a major update in the way of new features – (usually marked by the update being seeded to developers before its public release) – Apple has tonight publicly released the next iteration of its mobile operating system.
The recent launch of Twitter’s new music-discovery service – #Music – hasn’t gone too smoothly, according to some of the user reviews which have been left on the app’s description page, thus far.
Also notable this weekend is an update recently pushed to Yahoo! Mail. Originally hitting the App Store back in December 2011, the latest update to the mail client alternative introduces full ‘Universal’ support, seeing the app now offer a separate native UI for those using both Apple’s full-size iPad and iPad mini.
